Rubondo Island National Park

Rubondo Island National Park was established in 1977 covering a total Area of 240 km² with humid forest.

Its a major habitat for different Wildlife species including yellow-spotted otter, Nile perch, African fish eagle, hippopotamus, vervet monkey, genet, mongoose, bush-buck, sitatunga, African grey parrot, malachite kingfisher, paradise flycatcher, herons, storks, and spoonbills.
